My name is David Paterson, and I'm 67 years old. I live in New Zealand.
Before proceeding, I very much want to publicly thank Absolute Tech of New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand for so generously sponsoring this website from scratch to finish, including developing it and giving me a free licence to use their own software Living CMS so that I may edit and update this website from time to time by myself.
This home page contains the main text, the purpose of which is to
attract potential donors and sponsors who might want to help fund our operational funds,
our 'seed money',
which we need in addition to what we have so far, to make a charity walk
around Britain in 2009 in aid of The British Heart Foundation and the Rett Syndrome Association UK. How
much is needed as you read this? Click here to see. For a
list of donors/sponsors and amounts, click here.
For a look at the four pages of itinerary and the confirmed free caravan
parking sites click

and here and here and
here.
Later, I'll be opening a posting for each charity on JustGiving so that people may donate directly to whichever charity(ies) they wish to support financially as part of our charity walk around Britain.
Once you've had a look around within my website, I hope that you'll decide to donate - no matter how little, or sponsor part of whole of our venture. If you wish to donate anonymously, please say so. Otherwise I'll record whatever information you provide with your donation. If you wish to sponsor a good part or all of THE WALK, please use the contact form, and let me know your thinking.
Any money left over from these funds for the British walk will go towards the costs of a similar charity walk around New Zealand, planned to take place in 2010.
Check out the various Menu items for anything that might be in this website and that I've not mentioned above.
